Drawing
When a person enters the door and applies force by pushing on the door wing it activates an AC motor that assists in the rotation of the door. Once force is removed (person stops pushing) or the door reaches the home position (X) the motor disengages, and the motor stops and the door does not rotate.
- Automatic Quarter pointing – If the door is out of position (+) for example after 15 seconds if there is no one present in the door sensor zone the door will rotate automatically to the home position (X), Quarter-point.
- The door is driven by a 1/3 HP AC motor and helical bevel gearbox.
- Control of the motor is through a frequency inverter and programmable logic controller.
- The activation is by a sliding linear target and proximity sensors that detects when there is force applied to the door wing.
- All manual revolving doors with this feature will require a 12” high canopy and will be constructed using one piece aluminum extrusion for painted and anodized doors. Clad door will require a different construction method.
- The soffit ceiling sheets are “pie” segments for easy access and adjustment to the motor and controls and for field assembly of the door.
- This system can also accommodate actuators to lock the door wings if required.
- Complies with ANSI standards for all CJ Rush Manual doors with power assist.
